Community & Social Media Manager | Remodeleze
October 2010 - August 2012 | Start-up
Remodeleze (now closed) was a community where homeowners could benefit by connecting directly with remodeling contractors they could trust, for free - making the remodeling process easy. While the site was free for homeowners, remodeling contractors and professionals utilized paid profiles to use as their online presence and reputation.
In 2010 (after a new round of funding), I re-joined the team with a focus on community & social media management. I was responsible for user engagement and growth across various social media platforms, the Remodeleze platform (e.g internal community), and email communications. I also managed website content and strategy.

While with Outlook & CaliforniaPsychics, I managed content, company PPC campaigns for the best ROI, landing pages, marketing campaigns (email and print) and assisted in the launch of their first online radio station: Karma Air (launched before the popularity of podcasts - Outlook was always ahead of trends). Before leaving Outlook I initiated their SEO efforts (including revamping our entire content url structure) to increase page rank and traffic, organically.
I began my journey at Outlook in 2002 (as a supervisor in customer service) and moved on to become their Administrative Supervisor in 2004, before being promoted to Marketing Manager months later.
